Who I am

I am Nishan Palakrishnan, a Sales Representative registered with RECO and working with RE/MAX ACE REALTY INC., Brokerage. This policy covers realtornishan.ca and the information you share with me through it.

What I collect

• What you send me: name, email, phone number and the message you write in a contact form, guide request, home evaluation request or calculator email request.
• Property details: for a home evaluation, the address and details of your home.
• Calculator inputs: the numbers you enter are used in your browser. They only reach me if you choose to email yourself the results.
• Basic visit information: if website analytics is turned on, anonymous counts of visits and pages. I do not use it to identify you.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and provide the service you ask for.
• To send you the guide or results you request.
• To follow up about your enquiry, and to stay in touch if you agree.
• To meet my professional and legal obligations as a real estate registrant.

Your consent and email

When you tick the consent box on a form, you agree to be contacted about your request. You can withdraw consent at any time by telling me, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email. I follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) and do not send commercial messages to people who have not agreed or who have unsubscribed.

Who sees your information

I do not sell your information. It may be handled by service providers that help me run this site and my business, such as website hosting, the form service that delivers your message to me, and email. My brokerage may also need access as required by law and regulation. I share information with lawyers, lenders or other professionals only when you ask me to, or when a transaction requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, so your information may be subject to the laws of those places.

Cookies and fonts

This site does not set tracking cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads.

How long I keep it

I keep your information as long as needed for the purpose you gave it, and as long as the law and my professional obligations require. After that I delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where the law allows. Contact me using the details below.

How I protect it

I use reasonable safeguards, such as secure connections, limited access and trusted providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as banking details or ID numbers through the forms.

Changes

I may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
